The Japan Wood-Products Export Association is dedicated to promoting export of domestically produced Japanese wood products such as logs, processed lumber, plywood and engineering wood. Our association has built a broad network of stakeholders, including forestry businesses, manufacturers, trading companies, industry associations, and local governments. We conduct timber market research, implement performance tests of Japanese wood products to meet international standards especially for structural lumber such as Japanese cypress and Japanese cedar. Furthermore, we promote Japanese wood products in expositions and seminars for increasing awareness of Japanese wood products and forest resources in Japan.
